Terms and Conditions
These are the Console Plus Terms and Conditions of sale to which all online purchases are subject. Our privacy policy, returns policy and delivery information also form part of our terms.

1. Price Information

The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Console Plus website. All prices are correct at time of display online and include V.A.T. where appropriate, all prices are listed in £ (Pounds Sterling) and customers whose local currency differs should conversion rates etc. before ordering. In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed.

Console Plus are registered for VAT in the UK, our VAT number is 810 635 948. If a product is available to purchase online, post and packaging is charged in addition to the prices shown. All delivery charges will be shown clearly during the checkout process and are based on the total weight of the order.

2. Ordering Goods

To buy products from our online store you will need to register with the site (new customers) or sign in to the site (existing customers who have already registered). You will be prompted to do this when using the checkout or accessing any members features (address book, personal details, order history etc.). To order goods from the online store simply click the "add to cart" button next to the item of your choice. Out of stock items are clearly indicated and cannot be purchased, however information about the product will still be available. At any time you are able to view the contents of your shopping cart by clicking the 'View' button in the shopping cart heading on the left of the screen. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the checkout pages. During the checkout process you will be prompted to confirm delivery details and to provide details of the credit/debit card (or alternative payment method) you wish to use. At any point you can return to a previous screen to make amendments. After making these selections you will have a final chance to check all the details of your order. Selecting "Proceed" will generate and transmit your order and enter our secure payment gateway (if paying by Credit or Debit Card), the payment will be authorised in realtime and once complete will finalise the order. If you need to amend your order after it has been generated, please contact us either by email (sales@consoleplus.co.uk) or telephone (0117 3738371, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).

3. Payment

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. Payment will be debited to your account before the despatch of your purchase. We also accept payment by Nochex, Paypal, Cheque, Postal Order or Bank Transfer.
We utilise the services of Protx and HSBC to process all credit and debit card purchases made by our customers. We make no surcharge for any payment method, the total amount paid is unaffected by the type of payment used.
All prices listed are in £ (Pounds Sterling) and will be charged as such, any currency conversion will be carried out by your Card Issuer and are beyond our control.



4. Validation Checks

All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit and charge cards, Console Plus will validate the names and addresses supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to dispatch your order.

5. Liability

The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.

6. Delivery of Goods

Your order will be delivered either by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, Royal Mail Special Delivery, Royal Mail Swift Air or by Courier. A signature is required for all deliveries.

From the receipt of your order, we will endeavour to despatch your chosen items to you within 24 hours, providing the goods are in stock. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery. (Working days do not include weekends and national Bank Holidays.) During the order process you will be asked to select your preferred delivery method, Royal Mail guidelines for Recorded Delivery state 1-3 working days however we cannot guarantee delivery on any particular day. Deliveries to non-mainland or remote locations may take longer.

7. After-sales Service and Guarantees

Where applicable, details of manufacturers guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product.

Should you experience any difficulties with any product purchased from Console Plus please contact us by email or phone in order to attempt to resolve the issue. All products sold on our website carry a full 6 (six) Month return to base guarantee, please contact us to arrange returns under this policy.

8. Complaints and Queries

If you are not happy with any aspect of our service or if you have any queries or comments, please either e-mail us at sales@consoleplus.co.uk, telephone on 0117 9477550, or write to us at Console Plus, Unit D7A, Avondale Works, Woodland Way, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 1PA and we will do everything we can to help you.

9. Unwanted Goods

If you decide that you do not want any item which we have delivered then, provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase) within 7 days of delivery, we will exchange it or offer a refund. Game's, Video's and DVD's can only be exchanged if faulty or if returned unused with the original seal and wrapping intact.
All returns should be sent by post to Console Plus, 55 Victoria Road, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JZ. You are advised to use Recorded or Special Delivery (available from all Post Offices) when returning items by post.
This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. We will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 7 days

Please note, if your delivery is made by Courier it is important that you accept delivery and then return the goods if you do wish to cancel - if delivery is refused then the courier will charge a administration and return fee of £20 which will be deducted from any refund due.

10. Faulty Goods

If you purchase a product from us which is found to be faulty, we will supply a replacement product, or give you a refund of the purchase price. Game's, Video's and DVD's can only be exchanged if faulty or if returned unused with the original seal and wrapping intact.
All returns should be sent by post to Console Plus, 55 Victoria Road, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JZ. You are advised to use Recorded or Special Delivery (available from all Post Offices) when returning items by post.
Our delivery note or other proof of purchase must accompany the returned product. Upon receipt of the product, we will examine it, or we may have to return it to the manufacturer for examination. We aim to despatch a replacement product or refund your money within 7 days.

Please note, if your delivery is made by Courier it is important that you accept delivery and then return the goods if you do wish to cancel - if delivery is refused then the courier will charge a administration and return fee of £20 which will be deducted from any refund due.

11. WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive ("the WEEE Directive") is a directive from Europe. As a member of the European Union, the United Kingdom implemented the WEEE directive as UK law on the 2nd January 2007. The purpose of the WEEE Directive is to reduce the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment (known as "WEEE") being disposed of to landfill by promoting the separate collection, treatment and recycling of WEEE for environmentally sound disposal, so as to minimise the potential effects on the environment and human health that may arise from the presence of hazardous substances commonly found in electrical and electronic equipment ("EEE").
As a retailer of electrical goods, Console Plus is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to WEEE ensuring that we are endeavouring to fulfil our environmental responsibilities at all times.
Console Plus provide a free take back service on EEE to all customers who make a "like for like" purchase from consoleplus.co.uk.
Provided that within 28 days of a purchase of EEE from consoleplus.co.uk a customer requests (by email or telephone) to return an old item of EEE AND provides a valid receipt of the new EEE purchased from consoleplus.co.uk, then we will arrange a Pre-Paid return package or arrange collection by courier and accept the old item free of charge.
The free take back service will only be available to customers where there is a like for like comparison between the new purchased product and the old product returned for disposal (example: a new console or peripheral purchased for an older console or peripheral).
As of 1st April 2007 all producers of electrical and electronic items are required to incorporate the following "crossed-out wheeled bin" symbol on their products. This symbol will indicate that the item should not be disposed of through household waste and should be properly disposed of via a retailer take back scheme or their local civic amenity site licensed to accept WEEE.
