Console Plus Returns Policy
Seven day 'no quibble' returns policy:

We operate a seven day no quibble returns policy, if for any reason upon receipt of your order you are not fully satisfied with one or more of the items then you are welcome to return them under this seven day policy.

All goods must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition, a copy of the original invoice should also be supplied whenever possible (if it is not possible to enclose the invoice please ensure some means of identifying you are included, such as the order number, your name, email address etc.). The seven day period for 'non faulty' returns begins on the day of despatch, and expires seven full days later, any goods returned under this policy after the seven day period will not be accepted and will be returned. Software titles and games are not covered by this policy unless under extreme conditions, which will be dealt with on a case by case matter - software titles which have been opened and a seal has been broken cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

Upon receipt of a return we will inspect the product to be sure it is in the original packaging and in resaleable condition, once this is confirmed we will issue a full refund of the price paid for the product/s to the same credit or debit card used to make the payment. Please note that postage charges are not refundable, neither outward or inward.

Important: All returns made under this policy must be sent with an adequate level of compensation cover; this is for your own protection as all goods remain your property and responsibilty until we sign to confirm receipt. We strongly recommend using royal mail recorded delivery or royal mail special delivery (for higher value items, over £27); both these services give a proof of delivery and provide compensation in the case of loss or damage. We accept no responsibility for any returns that are damaged or lost in the post, please package your goods carefully.

Please note, if your delivery is made by Courier it is important that you accept delivery and then return the goods if you do wish to cancel - if delivery is refused then the courier will charge a administration and return fee of £20 which will be deducted from any refund due.

Standard returns policy:

All products we sell are covered by our six month guarantee, should any product you purchase from us develop a fault within this six month period then we will repair or replace it free of charge. Whenever possible a copy of the original invoice should also be supplied (if it is not possible to enclose the invoice please ensure some means of identifying you are included, such as the order number, your name, email address etc.), please also enclose a note describing in as much detail as possible the nature of the fault you are experiencing. The six month period for faulty returns begins on the day of despatch, and expires seven full days later, any goods returned under this policy after the six month period will not be accepted and will be returned.

Upon receipt of your return the good/s will be fully tested by one of our staff, if it is agreed that the product is faulty an immediate repair or replacement will be arranged (if a repair will take an unacceptable length of time we will generally offer an instant replacement). If the product is no longer in our product range or is out of stock we will offer you the choice of a similar item or a full refund including the outgoing postage charge, due to logistical reasons incoming postage charges are not refundable under any cicrumstances. If a replacement product or an alternative product are sent the outgoing postage charge is paid by Console Plus and is not chargable to the customer.

11. WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive ("the WEEE Directive") is a directive from Europe. As a member of the European Union, the United Kingdom implemented the WEEE directive as UK law on the 2nd January 2007. The purpose of the WEEE Directive is to reduce the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment (known as "WEEE") being disposed of to landfill by promoting the separate collection, treatment and recycling of WEEE for environmentally sound disposal, so as to minimise the potential effects on the environment and human health that may arise from the presence of hazardous substances commonly found in electrical and electronic equipment ("EEE").
As a retailer of electrical goods, Console Plus is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to WEEE ensuring that we are endeavouring to fulfil our environmental responsibilities at all times.
Console Plus provide a free take back service on EEE to all customers who make a "like for like" purchase from consoleplus.co.uk.
Provided that within 28 days of a purchase of EEE from consoleplus.co.uk a customer requests (by email or telephone) to return an old item of EEE AND provides a valid receipt of the new EEE purchased from consoleplus.co.uk, then we will arrange a Pre-Paid return package or arrange collection by courier and accept the old item free of charge.
The free take back service will only be available to customers where there is a like for like comparison between the new purchased product and the old product returned for disposal (example: a new console or peripheral purchased for an older console or peripheral).
As of 1st April 2007 all producers of electrical and electronic items are required to incorporate the following "crossed-out wheeled bin" symbol on their products. This symbol will indicate that the item should not be disposed of through household waste and should be properly disposed of via a retailer take back scheme or their local civic amenity site licensed to accept WEEE.
